Current News… 01 Feb. 2006. I still have not heard about the UNESCO Young Professionals Program (YPP) opportunity. Many of my friends are aware that I am a finalist for this position (which would be in Paris) and traveled to France in November for the interview process… - I’ll keep you posted! |

Research Interests. I am working on my PhD in political science at Northeastern University. My research interests revolve around the effects of the HIV/AIDS pandemic on democratization in Africa. Particularly, I am interested in the response of South African civil society to the pandemic and what impact this has on the process of democratic consolidation in that country. |
