After making several advertisement, event, and wedding videos in high school, Jamie began writing, directing, producing, and editing short films as well as creating video art instillations. He is currently studying Film and Digital Media at the University of California - Santa Cruz.

Works Completed:

Rorrim (fall 2003) - a study of identity and distortion through mirrors and reflection

Scinematica (winter 2003) - an experimental documentary / music video about artist-musician Spencer Owen

A Game of Tetris with Alexey Raminof (winter 2003) - a short mockumentary that documents the lifestyle and beliefs of a world-class Tetris player in "portrait of an artist" form.

“Alap: Stop Requested” (spring 2003) - an interactive video art instillation involving manipulating projected video images with a flashlight

Projects in Progress:

Polar Transcendence - Joel Holloman gets lost while trying to find his one right record in a sea of millions. Starring John Navarre and Flannery Cashill. (To be completed August 2003)

Editing wedding videos in Final Cut Pro in association with Patrick Lamb Video Productions

This summer Jamie is also working on the crews of several short films in the Kansas City area in association with the Kansas City Independent Filmmakers' Coalition.
