Web Page Publishing

Now that you have completed designing your web page, the next step is to get your page onto the Web.  Whether you are preparing to upload your personal (non-commercial) web page, which is included with your personal dialup account or are publishing your business web site, this section will get you started.

KCnet is a registered Microsoft® FrontPage®  2000 Web Presence Provider. If you will be publishing your web page with FrontPage, select one of the following versions for step-by-step instructions:

• Microsoft® FrontPage® 98
• Microsoft® FrontPage® 2000

If you will be uploading your site with an FTP program such as CuteFTP or FETCH, select the appropriate link below:

KCnet provides all of our users with a couple of CGI scripts to enhance your web page.  Select one of the following scripts for instructions on how to setup and use them:

• Hit Counter - see how many people visit your page.
• FormMail - email the results of a web based form.

In order to provide your customers a secure environment to conduct web based transactions, KCnet offers access to a secure server (commercial accounts only).  A digital id from Verisign  is used to insure secure communication between your client's browser and our server via SSL.
