Configuring Dial-up for Linux with kpppPage 1 of 2 Click the K button and select internet | kppp. or type kppp at the console. Then complete the following series of steps. Step 1 - Click Setup on the initial screen.
Step 2 - Under the Accounts tab, click New.
Step 3 - Under the Dial tab, type "KCnet" for the Connection name, type your "assigned access number" for the Phone Number. Select PAP for Authentication and check store password.
Step 4 - Click the IP tab at the top and select Dynamic IP Address.
