CDD currently operates six group homes, which have the capacity to serve 62 men and women. Birch, Sycamore, Cedars, Elms, and Southern Road can serve 10 people each. Lafayette Manor has the capacity to serve 12 people. In each home, people have their own bedroom. Birch and Sycamore Houses are equipped with adaptive equipment for deaf or hearing impaired persons. Services are offered within the group homes depending on each person's need. Some of the services available are training in life skills; health monitoring; transportation; fiduciary oversight; and recreation/socialization. |
The Villas apartments consist of three four-plexes and one six-plex (total of 18 apartments). Each resident has his/her own, one bedroom apartment, and there is an apartment for an on-site live-in, staff person. In addition to the Villas, the Supported Living Program includes Kinbrook Apartments. This apartment complex is located in Grandview. There are 13 apartments for those who need a little more assistance in areas such as hygiene, cooking, housekeeping, and medication administration. The services offered in the Group Living Program are also offered in the Supported Living Program. | |||||||

CDD currently offers two supportive services to other providers agencies which offer services to persons with disabilities. These services generate income to cover administrative overhead. |
